Educational Background
I graduated from Whitnall High School in 1995. I then attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education(1-9) and Spanish in May of 2000.

Previous Professional Experience
I began teaching at Lake Denoon in 2000 and taught here for six years until moving to Bay Lane Middle School. I spent 11 years teaching at Bay Lane until returning seven years ago to Lake Denoon to teach Spanish. I returned to school and obtained my master's in Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in December 2002. Throughout my years in the district, I have coached high school softball, coordinated for Destination Imagination at multiple schools, and supervised various clubs and sports.
Over the year, I have taught Foreign/World Cultures, Spanish, Reading and Writing, 6th-8th grade Intervention, 7th & 8th grade Social Studies, and 8th grade Literacy.

Personal Favorite
I love spending time with my family (husband and 3 children), reading, gardening, making jams, going to movies, and traveling. I hope to someday travel to all the Spanish-speaking countries and every US state.
