Educational Background
|
I graduated from Whitnall High School in 1995. I then attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education(1-9) and Spanish in May 2000. In 2001, I went back to school and obtained my master's degree in Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse in December 2002.

Previous Professional Experience
|
I began my teaching career at Lake Denoon in 2000. In 2006, I chose to move to Bay Lane Middle School. In 2017, I returned to Lake Denoon Middle School. I coached softball at Muskego High School for 5 years, three years at the freshman level, and two years at the Junior Varsity(JV) level. I was the Odyssey of the Mind Building Coordinator at Lake Denoon Middle School for 3 years and the Destination Imagination Building coordinator at Lake Denoon Middle School for 6 years. I am currently the World Languages Club Advisor for Lake Denoon.
Through the years I have taught Foreign/World Cultures, Spanish 1, Spanish 2, Reading & Writing, 6th - 8th-grade Intervention, 7th and 8th grade Social Studies, and 8th-grade Literacy.

Personal Favorite
|
I love to spend time with my family (husband and 3 children), read, garden, make jam, go to movies, and travel. I hope to someday travel to all the Spanish-speaking countries and every US state.
