I am so very honored to serve as the Principal at Muskego Lakes Middle School. As a staff, we could not be more excited and grateful for Kelly Thompson, our superintendent, our School Board, and community support that led to a brand new, state of the art facility for Muskego Lakes students and staff.

I truly love each and every student and have the privilege of serving our students alongside the most caring, dedicated, and brilliant teachers I’ve ever worked with. My personal mission as principal is to ensure our school is a place where students belong, matter, and are known.  We show up every day because we believe that our purpose is to get to know our students, foster their ability to be drivers of their learning, cheer them on toward their goals, and celebrate their perseverance as they amaze us each day.

Throughout my experiences, I’ve learned that above all else, our belief in young people is critical. When we hold all students to high expectations, we affirm our belief in their ability to achieve. I love building relationships with students, reassuring them of their ability to contribute in mighty ways. It is an honor to be a part of students’ lives as they discover their strengths, explore their passions, and pursue their hopes and dreams.

Our hope is to be known as a school that lives out our vision of, "Connecting hearts and minds through acceptance, empowerment, and achievement."
