Teaching & Learning

The Teaching and Learning Department of the Muskego-Norway School District is committed to providing leadership and support to all content areas and programs that impact student learning, and our system uses data and the knowledge of our learners to drive our instructional practices.  Our curriculum is essentially a design, or roadmap for learning, and as such focuses on knowledge and skills that are judged important to learn. Instruction is the means by which that learning will be achieved, and the Muskego-Norway School District utilizes research-support approaches that have been proven as effective ways to enhance leearning of both skills and content: problem-based learning with a real-world focus, interdisciplinary content, cooperative learning groups, and student goal setting are just a few examples.Through integrated approaches to curriculum, technology and personalized learning, the Teaching and Learning Department supports the School District's goal of Every Student Learning, Growing, and Succeeding.
