The School District of Muskego-Norway uses a strategic assessment system to inform decisions at the classroom, school and district levels.  As part of the Wisconsin's Strategic Assessment System, the district does more than balance different types of assessments.  Different types of assessment include formative, interim/benchmark and summative assessments.  "Strategic Assessment System" refers to a thoughtful selection of assessment tools and practices while purposefully using the information from the assessments to directly impact student achievement.
