Dress Etiquette

Students are expected to dress professionally for the graduation ceremony.  Dress shoes, dress pants, dress, skirt, blouse, button-down shirt with tie are required.  Shorts are not allowed.  No jeans, running shoes, flip flops, or sports sandals.  Keep in mind the turf is soft, high-heeled shoes will sink.

Caps and gowns are worn to signify and celebrate the graduating class as a whole. Please refrain from wearing individual corsages, wrist flowers, or other jewelry on the gowns. Caps should also be free from written messages and ornamentation.

Handicap Parking & Seating

Handicap parking is available at the main gate, the ESC, and the visitor side.  Handicap seats are embedded in the bleachers, the bleachers are equipped with ramps.  Seats are not reserved.

Reserved Seating for Guests with Mobility Needs

Reserved seating at graduation is specifically designated for guests with mobility challenges to ensure their safety and comfort. This includes individuals who use wheelchairs, walkers, or canes, those who are unable to manage stairs, and anyone who requires oxygen.

Each graduate may request seating for one guest with mobility needs and one companion in this section.

For guests who use wheelchairs but are able to navigate ramps, please note that there are spaces embedded within the bleachers that can accommodate wheelchairs. These options help ensure accessible seating is available to all who need it, while preserving the limited reserved space for those with the greatest need.

If hot weather is expected, we strongly encourage individuals with health concerns or sensitivity to heat to consider avoiding the in-person ceremony and watching the live stream online instead. These accommodations help us ensure a safe and accessible experience for all. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
