The Co-Op Program is a School-To-Work Program that provides students with an opportunity to alternate in-school instruction with employment in area businesses. This instructional program is planned, coordinated, and supervised by the teacher-coordinator and the employer. School-To-Work provides the framework to ultimately meet the student’s career objective and to provide career results for the student. Through this educational program, the community will experience a productive growth of its citizens, schools and businesses.
School-To-Work provides numerous advantages for each of the educational components; the employer and community, parents and students. The opportunity for achieving a Youth Apprenticeship Certificate is available through this program.
