R & R (Respect & Responsibility) Onboard

Site Goal: LDMS will offer opportunities for students to learn about and engage in respectful and responsible behavior.

Committee Goal: Maintain communication between bus company and school while generating ideas to keep buses safe.

Student and Bus Driver Expectations

  1. All school rules apply on the bus at all times.

  2. Reserved seating will be encouraged by the driver and the students.

  3. Cooperate with the driver and students on the bus.

  4. Students will report quickly to their seats and students will stay seated.

  5. Talk quietly - no shouting.

  6. Help keep the bus clean.

  7. Eating and drinking on the bus is prohibited.

  8. Be courteous.

  9. Do not use profane language.

  10. Smoking or use of tobacco products is prohibited.

  11. Open the windows only half way.

  12. Keep head, hands, and feet inside the bus.  Keep belongings in your lap.

  13. Physical contact on the bus is not allowed.

  14. Tune radio to "Play" stations only.
