The hot lunch program provides a choice of three hot entrees and salad each day and various a la carte items. Students may bring their own lunch. Students who buy lunch at school may access the computerized lunch cashier system with their account number.
Other lunch info... Students eat in the commons. After the first week of school, students reserve a permanent seat for the semester. Students who experience behavioral problems in the lunchroom are assigned seating. Lunchroom and playground rules are posted in the commons. All food is to remain in the lunchroom. On a rotating basis, students wash their lunch table and sweep the floor around the table for a period of a week at a time. All students are expected to go outside during an assigned portion of the lunch period or go to quiet study. Indoor recess will occur when the weather is inclement. (Students should come to school prepared for the weather.) When the wind chill is below zero (0) students are kept inside for recess. *Free and Reduced Lunch applications are available in the main office. |
