Mill Valley Elementary School celebrated 150 years (1856-2006) of educational excellence in 2006-07.  As part of our celebration, we enjoyed many activities linked to our curriculum including:

• Traditional dance in physical education
• Traiditonal songs and music in music class
• Ice Cream Social for Families (Fall)
• Traditional Fun and Games (Winter)
• May 1, 2007 - Official Celebration (Spring)
• Learning Expo (Spring)
• Spririt Wear with a 150th Anniversary logo
• Monthly history publication sharing the events from our past
• Organizing our historical documents

In addition, individual classrooms incorporated the 150th Anniversary into their grade level curriculum.
